Here are some more birthday pics-

He blew on his candles about 15 times
and they finally went out with some help from Mom. He had such a look of concentration on his face when he was opening his presents. He is the kind that pulls on the tape and doesn't rip the paper. It was very interesting to watch. He got a toy laptop that makes music and sound and flashes lights, a stuffed Eyore (is that how you spell it?), and a thing that when you shake it it lights up and has glitter floating around in it. It's kindof like a lava lamp but with glitter and it changes color from blue to green to red. Then the rest of the gifts were clothes-two pair of pants and three shirts. He sure had a great time!
We are sure lucky and blessed to have this little guy in our family!

Aaron's 2nd birthday photo shoot-

Today Aaron had his 2nd birthday check-up at the doctors. He was very curious about what they were doing to him. He couldn't quite figure out why he had to lay on a table and have the doctor put this weird looking thing on his chest to listen to his heart. Aaron had to get one shot today and the whole time he was just looking at the nurse and wondering what she was doing. He didn't cry or squirm or anything. What a little man!

Anyway, when I post this it will be just about the exact moment that he will turn two. He was born at about 3:45 pm.

Happy Birthday Aaron and Sara!!!!

Other big happenings at our house occurred yesterday. This is one of the reasons that I haven't posted recently. I was getting ready for the "Tractor Guy". Mike found this guy with a tractor for hire.

He came yesterday and moved dirt, plowed down "the jungle", leveled the yard, and tilled.
You probably can't tell from these pictures, but we have a totally different yard now.

He was here for almost six hours and it makes me think about how much work we won't have to do because we had this guy come. There is no way we would have ever been able to move all that dirt and get everything ready for a sprinkler system to be put in so soon.

He even let Mike try out his tractor. I don't know if you can see it in this picture, but Mike has a HUGE grin on his face. You'd think he was a kid in a candy store.

Anyway, now all we need to do to get a yard is to rake, pull weeds daily, rake, dig trenches, pour a patio, pull some more weeds, plant grass, and about a million other little things. At least I can say that at this moment, Our yard is weed free!!! Hurray!!!!

I'm sure that won't last long though. Such is the curse of all mankind.

Well, I must go. Today I still need to cook some dinner, wrap some gifts, do some laundry, bathe some kids, and retype the entire 8-page Primary Program, changing some of the parts and assigning the rest. There are only 160 parts. It shouldn't take me more that 5-6 hours (you know, since I have so many "helpers" running around here). Maybe I can even get some sleep eventually.

Side Note to Isaac and Sara-

We are praying for you especially hard and long today. And not just because it's Sara's birthday and she is getting so old. We hope you get your biggest birthday wish fulfilled! We Love You!!!!!

Guess what I've been doing the past few days? Scroll down for a clue.

In the meantime here are the kids school pictures for this year. I think they all turned out very good. These were taken on August 2nd.

Here's the clue mentioned above-

That's right, I've been canning peaches. I must say that after doing 48 jars over 3 days I don't really want to eat any peaches any time soon. I had three bottles break (each of my first three batches had one bottle apiece) and only one didn't seal. It was on my very last batch. That's a pretty good record for me. Usually I have one per batch not seal.
Anyway, that's all that's been going on around here. Literally.

Have a Fantastic Day!
